OK, I totally just wrote a whole shindig about Paris but it messed up and wasn't posted. Need I really say more about it. Many excursions and probably pretty expensive for all of them. All of which are very worth it. End of Story. This city is a must see with excursions to Versailles and Fonteblaeue.
Cost: €20-30 for a hostel each night and perhaps camping for cheaper. Buy a 10 pass or 1 week pass for the subway. Definitely can take up a week with excursions and maybe even up to 10 days.

Yeah, Paris is a must see, especially since I've never been there. There's a ton of famous places and history that surrounds the city. We'll be able to make those day trips you mentioned too.
I wish your shindig piece didn't get erased because I'm curious why you want to go back a second time so much. You know it's very unlikely those Japanese girls will be there again, right?
For your information, I met them in good old romantic Munich the day before returning to Gaming. I have not seen all of Paris I have probably spent 3 days there only and some things were worth going again. Some things can even take up several days on its' own, like the Louvre. Although I did it in one day, I could have done two.
