Berlin - Germany

Now here we will find good beer, varying cultures and lots of fun! I have never been there myself but it seems to be the life of the party. Formerly stuck in communist controlled East Germany the city has many post WWII anomalies. Much of the city was destroyed during WWII to either be rebuilt in its' former glory or with totally knew ideas and concepts. To add to this great difference the eastern portion was separate from the west and with about 40 years of separation much changed between the two sides. They are said to have a very efficient public transit system and so well worth it. Amazingly I just found some Hostels for around €13, making it a fairly cheap city. Also, hit the city on a Thursday because 4 hours before closing on Thursdays, museums are usually free. With the number of things to see here, it seems like a hit city. It also seems to be in the middle for price as long as you don't go overboard on buying or eating out. Because it is a big tourist city and just a big city all together, it has problems with pickpockets, which is definitely something to remember when visiting. The police seem to be friendly and helpful which is a big plus when considering the dangerous areas of the city. It seems overall a definite city to visit but requires a few days and a lot of reading in order to really visit properly. Much like Paris, and other major cities, this particular subject will have to be researched further.
